Kaaz is the pioneer of the large sized clutch plate design. Kaaz LSDs feature smooth locking ability and stable drivability because they use the cone spring design which has turned out to be a long proven design. The cone spring provides pressure when compressed. According to Kaaz there is a general misunderstanding that "High initial torque = More effective LSD".

Kaaz designs are based on the LSD's overall locking characteristic and not does not depend solely on the initial torque setting. Kaaz uses special materials and processing techniques to manufacture its LSDs. For example, the new "RS" clutch plates are utilized on all of their "Solid LSD" models which are uniquely designed to improve gripping whilst reducing wear. All pinion gears and side gears are made from steel and speciallly heat treated for maximum strength.
