Ultra Carbon Fiber Ultra Carbon Fiber was started by Adam and Codi Weeks in 2004. The company was founded on automotive principles and a passion for composites. The owner of Ultra Carbon Fiber comes from an automotive background, having raced in many different venues including SCCA. Ultra Carbon Fiber manufactures carbon fiber jewelry or as the owner likes to call it “speedwear”. All jewelry is built using the exact same technology as found in the current field of Formula One cars.
How do I know which ring size to purchase?
There is a handy ring sizing chart that you can view and print out: here
The products are manufactured using only the highest spec prepreg (dry) carbon fiber. Ultra uses a mix of 2x2 Twill fabric on the exterior for that exquisite look we all love.
Instead of using multiple plies of fabric Ultra uses 5 plies of very thin uni-directional carbon prepreg on interior plies.
Uni-directional carbon fiber is traditionally used in aerospace applications but Ultra wanted to build products that possess strength and looks.
Uni-directional carbon fiber has much lower resin content and as such is stiffer by weight than carbon fabric. All of the products are autoclave cured which means temperatures as high as 300 degrees Fahrenheit and 100 psi outer pressure.
This ensures perfect compaction and a uniform structure.
Each ring is hand finished and coated with a layer of resin to protect the wearer from carbon dust rub off or any chance of a splinter, offering a very polished appearance. Ultra products are made in the USA and are accompanied by a one (1) year warranty.
