 2007 is shaping up to be the strongest year yet in the performance aftermarket
SEMA, the industry association for manufacturers of performance parts and accessories, is compiling data for 2006, but based on the past 5 years' trends, 2006 likely saw about $37 billion in sales. Just to put that in perspective, the entire U.S. movie industry ("Hollywood") is about $35 billion and the videogame industry is about $8 billion. Clearly, you (and we) love our cars and trucks!
