Seventh Annual Off-Road Expo Presented by Toyota a Huge Success

Thousands Enjoy a Weekend Full of Off-Road Fun at This Legendary Off Road Extravaganza

Advanstar Communications, Inc., a leading provider of print, event and online media for the powersports, off-road and automotive aftermarket industries, announced today that the seventh annual Off-Road Expo presented by Toyota had a record breaking two-day attendance of 46,971 people, up 14 percent from last year, at the Pomona Fairplex October 7-8.

"This nationally renowned show, which is the nation's largest off-road consumer expo, grew immensely this year with a record number of exhibitors, many of which have already resigned for next year's show," said Advanstar's Off-Road Group Director Jim Ryan. "With more than 100,000 additional square feet of exhibitor space this year and two additional expo halls, there was also growth in specific off-road categories, such as sand and ATV segments, making this year's show the biggest it has ever been and a huge success."

The Off-Road Expo featured hundreds of vehicles and accessories from more than 300 exhibitors, as well as special off-road demonstrations, celebrities, giveaways and entertainment. Local Southern California and national off-road manufacturers, dealers and distributors - such as 4 Wheel Parts, BFGoodrich, Cycle Parts West, Bilstein, Interco Tire, Goodyear, MasterCraft, Skyjacker Suspensions, Toyota and hundreds more, were all present to demonstrate and educate attendees on all the newest vehicles and accessories.

"We were thrilled with the marketing, execution and huge amount of attendees at this year's Off-Road Expo presented by Toyota," said Brent Goegebuer of 4 Wheel Parts. "We sold 30 percent more than we did at last year's show and were extremely pleased with the percentage of attendees who were making purchases. We are excited to come back for the Off-Road Expo next year in Pomona."

The Off-Road Expo series has expanded beyond Pomona this year, as it will travel for the first time ever to Houston, November 10-12, and it was a great success earlier this year in Salt Lake City, April 21-23. Additionally, it will return to Pomona for an eighth year, October 12-14, 2007. For more information, please visit www.offroadexpo.com.
