This month's feature: SEMA 2004 in Review
Not only was this year's SEMA the most attended, it also had the most new products released. And with its reputation as the "Superbowl of Show Cars" one couldn't walk 5 feet without tripping on one jaw-droppingly awesome tricked-out, decked-out, lit up, bling-blinged, full-bore, lifted, lowered, boomin', flamin', roarin', argh argh argh...car after another!
Yes, the atmosphere was electric, offering a great backdrop for new and old friends to gather to trade stories, talk business and make deals.
But the real focus at SEMA is the parts.
SEMA Show premiered over 1,100 new automotive products in the New Product Showcase this year. Of these, 12 category winners ranging from best new tool and interior accessory, to hottest merchandising and packaging designs were selected as SEMA's Best New Products for 2004. In a world where reinventing the wheel has become something of a catch-phrase, SEMA member companies manage to do exactly that year-after-year.
Judged on superiority in innovation, technical achievement, quality and workmanship, consumer appeal and salability, the 2004 New Product Winners include:
