| Description: | AEM is proud to introduce its BRUTE FORCE intake systems for the 2005-08 Ford Mustang 4.0L V6 engines (part # 21-8111D) and 2007-08 Ford Mustang 4.6L V8 engines (part # 21-8113D). The largest power gains for the V6 are 9HP at 4700 RPM and 10 lbs/ft of TQ at 4100 RPM as measured at the wheels. The largest power gains for the V8 are 7 HP at 5800 RPM and 7 lbs/ft of TQ at 5400 RPM as measured at the wheels on the companys Mustang Dynamometer. AEM BRUTE FORCE intakes are dyno-tested against the competition to deliver unsurpassed performance. We tune each system on the dyno to deliver maximum torque and horsepower. Additionally, we monitor OBDII sensors, Mass Airflow sensor (MAF) signal voltage and fuel trims during this process to ensure that all readings are within OEM parameters, eliminating the chance of throwing a check engine light.
All BRUTE FORCE intakes are constructed of CNC, mandrel-bent, 6063 aluminum and/or roto-molded plastic, and feature reinforced, TIG-welded brackets and fittings for maximum durability. AEM also includes a heavy-duty steel heat shield with a powder-coated black finish (when applicable), a complete hardware kit and comprehensive installation instructions with every BRUTE FORCE intake system. BRUTE FORCE intakes are available with our new gunmetal two-stage powder coat or mirror-polished finish.
