From Codemasters (Warwickshire, U.K.) - makers of the critically acclaimed DiRT(tm) (2007) off-road and rally racing title - comes GRID(tm) featuring performance flywheel and clutch manufacturer Fidanza as an in-game sponsor.
GRID - now available for the Playstation 3, XBOX 360, Nintendo DS and Games for Windows - takes gamers around-the-world in pursuit of motorsports fame, fortune and funding. Players start their career as a rookie driver and, by winning races along the way, bolster their status and salary, which opens the door to sponsor support.
As seen on the black Dodge Viper adorning the cover of GRID, the Fidanza logo is prominent throughout the game, appearing on car liveries, trackside hoardings and the "Hero livery" - an exclusive listing assigned only to the very best AI-controlled vehicles. "Hero" cars - "the cars to beat!" according to Codemasters - proudly sport the Fidanza logo on their windscreen, just below the headlights.

Likewise, cool cars and fun locales are central to GRID. Gamers will pilot more than 50 of the world's most prestigious performers - including the Aston Martin DBR9, Audi R10, Dodge Viper SRT10, Mazda 787B, Nissan Silvia and Pagani Zonda - on licensed tracks and real-world city streets across North America, Europe and Japan.
