| Description: | Vortech Engineering has introduced high-output (HO) charge cooled supercharging systems for 5.7L/6.1L Hemi V8 Dodge and Chrysler automobiles.
The addition of the new V-3 Si-Trim centrifugal supercharger will increase crankshaft power up to 540 HP with additional torque up to 500 lb.ft. at 5.5 PSI. on 91 octane pump gasoline (SRT 8 systems).
The V-3 compressor has an advanced impeller design for ultra-high efficiency and features an internal oil reservoir (self-lubricated) that does not require a connection between the engine oil pan and the compressor gear case...no oil line.
The integrated dual-pass air/water charge cooler utilizes a closed-loop water cooling configuration with a stand-alone pump, tank and front mounted heat exchanger.
Fuel management includes high-flow Mopar fuel injectors, 2-bar Map sensor (6.1L also includes a fuel pump voltage booster assembly) and DiabloSport Predator hand-held programmer, which controls ignition timing and fuel enrichment.
All components needed to bolt the system to a stock vehicle are included, such as compressor bypass valve, aluminum mounting brackets, all necessary belts, pulleys, fasteners and reusable high-flow air filter.
Available in satin or polished finish components. A 3-year/36,000 mile powertrain limited warranty is optional. Suggested retail price range is from $5684.95 to $6638.95.
